Version History

v2.1.15

9 September 2026

  • Added a manual Invulnerable Save option for the defender (4++, 5++, or 6++), when a rule that isn't on the datasheet triggers it (datasheet already works), best of manual and datasheet wins.

v2.1.14

1 September 2026

  • Added Sustained Hits 2, Sustained Hits 3, and Sustained Hits D6 alongside the existing Sustained Hits 1 and D3 options under the attacker's Special Rules, for weapons, stratagems, and army rules that grant a bigger Sustained Hits bonus. Weapons whose datasheet already reads Sustained Hits D3 are now also simulated as D3 rather than being treated as Sustained Hits 1.

v2.1.13

26 August 2026

  • Fixed melee weapons with the Extra Attacks ability (e.g. a Servo-arm) being unselectable once a model's primary melee weapon was already assigned to every attacking model — Extra Attacks weapons now stack alongside the primary melee weapon instead of competing with it for the same model slots

v2.1.12

25 August 2026

  • Added manual Anti-Infantry 3+, 4+, and 5+ options under the attacker's Special Rules, for army rules and stratagems that grant or improve Anti-Infantry without changing the weapon's datasheet — e.g. the Necron Cryptek Conclave's Anti-Infantry 3+

v2.1.11

24 August 2026

  • Added a manual Feel No Pain option for the defender (4+, 5+, or 6+), for stratagems and other rules that grant or improve Feel No Pain without changing the datasheet. It combines with any datasheet Feel No Pain by using whichever is better, so it never downgrades a unit's existing ability.

v2.1.10

24 August 2026

  • Fixed units with more than one stat profile (e.g. Rubric Marines, Howling Banshees) sometimes showing an upgraded leader model's stats — like the Aspiring Sorcerer's 3 wounds — for the whole squad instead of the rank-and-file model actually being fielded. These units now default to the weaker (lower wounds) profile.

v2.1.9

18 August 2026

  • Fixed Anti-X (e.g. Anti-Infantry, Anti-Vehicle, Anti-Monster, Anti-Psyker) having no effect on wound rolls. Anti-X now correctly lowers the Critical Wound threshold whenever the defending unit has the matching keyword.

v2.1.8

15 August 2026

  • Fixed the Attacking/Defending Models counter allowing model counts a unit's datasheet doesn't actually support — The counter now defaults to, and stays within, each selected unit's real squad size, so most units won't need adjusting at all.

v2.1.7

13 August 2026

  • Added Re-roll Damage Rolls of 1 and Re-roll All Damage Rolls as new attacker modifiers, the damage-roll counterpart to the existing hit/wound/save re-rolls. Note that Re-roll All Damage Rolls keeps whichever result comes out, higher or lower.

v2.1.6

13 August 2026

  • Feel No Pain has actually been factored into damage calculations since 2.1.0-beta.1, but was never shown anywhere — it's now displayed as a badge on the defender's stat block, and as an 'Applied Defender Rules' entry in the Combat Results panel, whenever the defending unit has it.

v2.1.5

11 August 2026

  • Added Critical Hits on 4+/5+ and Critical Wounds on 4+/5+ as new attacker Special Rules, for faction abilities that lower the Critical threshold below the default unmodified 6 — stacks with Sustained Hits, Lethal Hits, and Devastating Wounds.

v2.1.4

7 August 2026

  • Added a new Stratagems section with Fire Overwatch — snap shoot a unit at the end of your opponent's Movement phase, hitting only on an unmodified roll of 6 with no re-rolls, matching the 1CP core stratagem. Only applies to ranged weapons (shown but disabled for melee loadouts), and has no effect on Torrent weapons like flamers, which already hit automatically.

v2.1.3

4 August 2026

  • Added Sustained Hits D3, +3 Weapon Strength, and +4 Weapon Strength as additional attacker modifiers, alongside the existing Sustained Hits 1 and +1/+2 Weapon Strength options.

v2.1.2

4 August 2026

  • Fixed weapon quantity limits being undercounted for units where a model carries more than one copy of the same weapon by default — e.g. Crisis Sunforge Battlesuits could only be given 3 Fusion Blasters in the loadout selector instead of the correct 6 (2 per model).

v2.1.1

28 July 2026

  • Added +1 Weapon Skill (attacker) and -1 Weapon Skill (defender) modifiers, the melee counterpart to the existing Ballistic Skill modifiers.

v2.1.0

28 July 2026

  • Added support for multiple ranged profiles per unit as per core rules
  • Added support for mixed weapon squads and units with multiple ranged profiles and melee profiles. i.e. Kataphron breachers or Sanguniary Guard and so on

v2.1.0-beta.4

27 July 2026

  • Added 'What's New' widget to display recent updates and changes.

v2.1.0-beta.3

25 July 2026

  • Fix cover save carry over of AP reduction from 10th edition to 11th edition rules.
  • Added default Cover / No cover automatic calculation for ranged attacks for clarity and ease of use.

v2.1.0-beta.2

25 July 2026

  • UI overhal; general themeing and improve layout for growing list of modifiers and abilities.

v2.1.0-beta.1

24 July 2026

  • Overhauled data structure and retrieval for units, weapon profiles and abilities to support more complex interactions and modifiers going forward in 11th edition and future features.

v2.0.0-beta.3

23 July 2026

  • Added Lethal Hits, Sustained Hits 1, and Devastating Wounds as optional attacker modifiers — these can now be enabled via the UI for stratagems and other sources, not just weapon datasheet abilities.
  • Added '-1 to Defender's Save' as an attacker modifier — models that apply a save debuff (e.g. Nurgle's Gifts) can now be represented in the calculator.

v2.0.0-beta.2

14 July 2026

  • Added minus one damage modifier

v2.0.0-beta.1

13 July 2026

  • Added 11th edition combat rules strategy — now the default game edition on the calculator.
  • 11th edition support is in beta: hit and wound rolls follow the same rules as 10th edition, with save rolls using the explicit 11th edition ordered-check sequence (unmodified 1 always fails, then invulnerable save, then armour + AP).
  • 10th edition rules remain fully supported via the edition toggle.

v1.1.4

2 July 2026

  • Added one-shot chance to show the probability of destroying the full defending unit (respecting non-spillover damage).
  • Added models killed and unit kill percentage display when the defending unit has more than one model.

v1.1.3

24 June 2026

  • Improved visibility of release notes for all users.

v1.1.2

24 June 2026

  • Added displaying used abilities in the calculation summary.
  • Added the ability to select defending models in unit count.

v1.1.1

10 June 2026

  • Fixed profile click handling bug in weapon selection.
  • Improved handling for N/A ballistic skill weapons in calculations.

v1.1.0

20 May 2026

  • Rebuilt calculation engine from the ground up to improve performance and accuracy.
  • Added +1 Ballistic Skill support.
  • Added Re-Roll Wounds and Re-Roll Wounds of 1 support.

v1.0.0

13 February 2026

  • Initial version of the application with core functionality for calculating weapon profiles and damage outputs.
